Banks Group has developed with care since 1976. That’s why we established Banks Renewables to generate and store clean, green electricity in 2006 – these sustainable efforts are supporting the UK’s transition to net zero.

We operate onshore wind, solar developments and battery storage solutions in the north of England and Scotland. We currently own and operate 11 onshore wind farms, have planning permissions for another 307MW, with a further 580MW in the planning system, plus two solar arrays, and we plan to create more!
