About Banks Renewables
Banks Renewables has been supporting the environment since 2006. Through renewable onshore wind and solar developments and flexible battery storage power projects, we actively displace harmful greenhouse gases emitted by fossil fuel generation from the UK’s electricity grid and develop and operate new renewable electricity resources in the UK.
We’re committed to supporting the UK in its journey to achieving net zero. In fact, we’ve been consistently displacing more greenhouse gas emissions each year since our inception, displacing over 776,990 tonnes of CO2e to date.
Increasing renewable energy generation is essential to improve the UK’s energy security and to help reduce household bills over the long term, and we’re proud that our work is helping the UK edge ever closer to that goal.
