LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT+
We are committed to growing future talent through a robust 24-month programme. Our Graduate Development Programme consists of 6 key areas:
Onboarding and Introduction
Meet key stakeholders and get to know other graduates who are going through the programme.
Support and Guidance
Your line manager, HR and Learning and Development will be on hand to provide advice, guidance and assistance throughout your time on the Graduate Programme and beyond.
Business Familiarisation and Education
Spend time in different teams and go to training sessions to give you a deep understanding of how the business operates and delivers success.
Skills-Based Development
A mix of classroom and online learning opportunities to build awareness of employability skills, with the opportunity to practice them in a safe learning environment.
Presentation Opportunities
Be the voice of the Graduate Programme and have the opportunity to talk about your progress with key people across the business.
Offboarding
Complete the Graduate Programme and celebrate with your team as you move into a professional role with a comprehensive personal development plan to continue your journey with Banks Group.
THE APPLICATION PROCESS+
There is a three stage sequential selection process which consists of:
- INITIAL APPLICATION:

- PRE-RECORDED INTERVIEWS:
Following your initial application, subject to you meeting the essential criteria of the job, you may be required to answer a short set of pre-selection questions set by the hiring manager.
- ASSESSMENT CENTRE:
If you are successful following your video submission, you will be invited to attend an assessment centre which will take place in June 2025 at a venue local to our head office in Durham, North East. On the day, you will be asked to participate in various team activities so that we can learn more about you and your style and you can learn more about the company and the team.
The assessment centre is a real opportunity to showcase your personality, what you have acquired during your university studies and the value you could bring to The Banks Group. It is also a real opportunity to engage with other students, who may become your future colleagues, meet with the property team you could be working with and learn about the business!
