Killingworth Moor South (Phase 1)

We are thrilled to announce that North Tyneside Council has resolved to grant planning permission for 539 homes in Killingworth. Banks Property and Bellway submitted the planning application for 539 homes in Killingworth in October 2020. Killingworth Moor South is part of the Killingworth Moor Masterplan, which looks to bring forward much needed homes in North Tyneside.

Killingworth Moor was allocated in the 2015 draft North Tyneside Local Plan consultation as a key strategic site to contribute towards the borough’s objectively assessed needs for housing provision that will deliver approximately 2,000 new homes and over 10 hectares of green open space at Killingworth Moor. Killingworth Moor South is one the first phases of this strategic site to be brought forward.

Location: South of the B1317 along the south eastern fringe of Killingworth
