Wind farms are very unpopular with the public aren’t they?
Regular polling has consistently shown that renewable energy has 75-80 per cent public support. The Government set up a regular tracking survey to monitor public attitudes to onshore wind. The surveys began in March 2012. You can see the results for here.
Some 73 per cent of the British public polled by, polling company, ComRes, in October 2016, support onshore windfarms in contrast with decisions by the Government to block them. Please see our links page for more information.
