A wind farm to complement its setting

The project team start to think about how a project looks, in the context of its environment, at the earliest stage of the project design. A landscape of the scale of Lethans lends itself to a scheme such as the proposed Lethans Extension. There are many elements that are balanced when deciding on turbine number, height and positioning. Listen to Rachel our Principal Development Planner talk about how we visualise projects and the techniques we use to ensure our proposals compliment the landscape. She also discusses some of the specific elements of the Lethans Extension project, how it sits behind the original Lethans turbines and we create visualisations based on viewpoints picked by the community.
