History
The site was allocated for housing in Midlothian Council’s Local Development Plan. In 2014 Banks Property previously developed the neighbouring Chapel Field site which is located just south of Doctor’s Field. The Chapel Field site was sold to Miller Homes and house construction was completed in late 2016. Miller Homes renamed and marketed the development as Roselea.
