Postcode of nearby property: ML2 9QS
Site status: Restored. Restoration was completed in 2006. The site is now out of aftercare
Site area: c86 hectares (c214 acres)

The restoration scheme has combined both agricultural land and woodland to improve the woodland habitat along the Auchter Water. 10,000 trees have been planted across the site and over 1,000m of hedging. The former water treatment lagoons have been restored into a series of ponds as well as a small lake approximately 2 hectares (c5 acres) that feeds into the Auchter Water. Greylag geese and herons can commonly be seen on the wetland areas.
