We are looking for a project manager to join our development team, reporting to the senior property development manager and working on projects across the North East and Yorkshire regions, based from our head office in Durham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an ambitious regional developer with exciting growth plans.

Banks Property has over 42 years of experience in developing high quality, sustainable development projects in energy and property. We work closely with landowners, planning teams, house builders, local authorities and land agents managing development activity from inception to completion.

We have a high quality portfolio of sites and we aim to be the developer of choice for landowners and communities alike.

We are looking for the right person to join our team with a specific remit to:
• Manage the development of new property schemes identified by our property business team from early stages through planning, implementation and sales
• Manage projects to ensure clear strategy, programmes, budgets and targets are agreed in line with business plan objectives
• Manage a multi-disciplinary team of internal and external professionals.
• Report on progress though a key review system at peer review, business team and board levels

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a development role and have knowledge of the planning system and planning policy. You will be motivated, commercial astute and used to leading a team driving strategy and influencing the decision making process. With good communication skills both verbal and written.

The role will suit a chartered surveyor or town planner, a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) (MRICS) or the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
