Banks is committed to providing opportunities for its staff to develop and progress their skills and experience. In 1996 Banks was awarded Investors in People (IIP) status and since then has achieved the year on year improvement in staff development required to maintain its IIP status. Every member of staff has a training and development plan which is monitored every year during an appraisal. Staff are encouraged to further their careers through NVQs, professional chartered qualifications, degrees and targeted training courses.
