LOCATION: BASED AT SHOTTON SURFACE COAL MINE

An opportunity has arisen for a plant welder to join Banks Mining’s plant division based at our Shotton surface coal mine in Cramlington, see: http://www.banksgroup.co.uk/projects/mining/shotton/.
Reporting to the plant team leader the successful candidate will utilise their specialised experience and decision making skills to carry out welding diagnostics, repairs and maintenance to plant equipment. This will be done in a safe, efficient and responsible manner to achieve all plant department targets and objectives.
Applicants are invited from candidates who have or are working towards a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in welding fabrication or equivalent qualification. You will be organised and self-disciplined and safety and environmentally aware. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and must hold a full clean driving licence.
