Banks Mining,  part of the Banks Group, has over 35 years experience in surface mining with an excellent reputation for the innovative and successful design, development and operation of sites through our development with care approach.  Our modern plant fleet has been developed to enable us work sites safely, responsibly and efficiently, meeting both high environmental standards and challenging production targets.

Reporting to the site manager the successful candidates will be responsible for supervising the operation of earthmoving equipment to improve and maintain a high level of production whilst working within the company’s quality, environmental and health and safety standards. Candidates may be required to work on a shift pattern covering 24 hour working.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have successfully supervised  large scale earth moving operations, ideally in the open cast surface mine sector, and hold an NVQ 3 in health, safety & environmental management in the extractive and minerals processing industries. Computer skills would be an advantage.
