Banks Mining,  part of the Banks Group, has over 35 years experience in surface mining with an excellent reputation for the innovative and successful design, development and operation of sites through our development with care approach.  Our modern plant fleet has been developed to enable us work sites safely, responsibly and efficiently, meeting both high environmental standards and challenging production targets.

Working with the site management team, and reporting to the senior engineer, the successful applicant will be responsible for the production and maintenance medium and long-term mine plans, mine design, coal reserve evaluation and monitoring, volumetric calculations and the production of site forecasts and budgets together with the evaluation of new projects.

Applicants should be proactive, enthusiastic individuals used to working in a fast paced environment and be competent in the use of LSS software and Microsoft Office suite.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with the necessary written and verbal skills to enable them to relay information accurately and precisely.
