Contribution of a community benefit fund, which will result

in the donation of £2,000 per MW installed to be used for

community projects.

• Contributing towards the County Durham Renewable Energy

target of 164MW installed capacity by 2020.

• The proposal will boost the economy of the locality though

the use of local contractors, where possible. It will also support

the development of the Banks Group, a local company.

Will assist in allowing rural diversification and a mixed use

for the land with normal agricultural activities being able to

take place up to the base of the turbines.

• Generation of annual business rates.

• National benefit of providing 12.5MW of renewable energy

at a local scale.
