Restoration

Full underdrainage and re-seeding has been completed.  Full boundary hedging and livestock fencing has been installed, with some additional trees planted.

Funding has been provided, jointly with the Ministry of Defence who own the nearby Prestwick Carr SSSI, for a programme of works within the SSSI to enhance its ecological condition.  This is managed by Northumberland Wildlife Trust.
